With the name Newen we honor the Mapuche, whose language is Mapudungun.

The Mapuche are the indigenous people who live in the South of Chile and in Argentina.

The Mapudungun term Newen means both spiritual and physical energy. It represents the vital forces of nature and of the elements - water and air, earth and fire, plants, animals, and humans.

We chose the name Newen because we share the Mapuches’ belief that our connection with nature and the elements is essential for our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being and peace. We hope that our sound journeys will transport you into nature and connect you with the elements.
